First Light Nature School has been an absolute dream for our family. Both my daughter and son have loved their time with Mrs. Laura, who brings such a calm, caring presence to the classroom. She creates a nurturing, playful, and faith-filled environment that our kids have truly thrived in.
The children spend their days outdoors, which has helped our kids grow confident and comfortable in all kinds of weather — they now love hiking, exploring, and even camping! The curriculum, inspired by the seven days of creation, beautifully weaves together nature-based learning, foundational preschool skills, and Bible-based teachings. We still have the memory verses displayed on our fridge and often reference them together as a family.
One of the things we appreciate most is the daily recaps Mrs. Laura sends home for each child. We love sharing these updates with grandparents and relatives — it’s such a special way to keep everyone connected to our kids’ learning and growth.
